I teach AFJROTC in FL. This is my 11th year. Because the cadet's primary school and community activity is "Showing the Colors", I teach a two day lesson on the history, display customs and courtesies of the Flag. Each year I try to expand my lesson content wise and visually.
Last summer I even took Flag pictures and slides during my vacation at Jamestown, Yorktown, Williamsburg, and Wash. DC ., to expand the lesson. Then HQ AFJROTC sent me your video.
If you have seen the younger generations in class, you realize that it is even hard to keep their attention, no matter what the lesson or visual aids.
This year, when I showed your video to my six class periods (262 cadets), they watched, they listened, they laughed, and then they did the unusual, for them, they applauded at the end of the video.
They loved it, and so did I. How about another Flag video? You deserve an Oscar!!!
